@element Please tell me there will at least be an option for a UI more akin to the desktop client? I'm in a ton of spaces and honestly hate how disorderly it all looks in Element X. I get the simplicity angle, but it also feels extremely cluttered and a little too simple. The option to separate people, spaces, and singular rooms similar to FluffyChat would be really nice. 🙏

@BrodieOnLinux I hate how cryptobros have tanked the public perception of a technology that was genuinely made with good intentions. It really fucking blows.

@ThatOneSeong Flatpak may be the future but it is far from the present lol.

@adiz I don't even use Flatpaks at the moment because of Nix, but I can acknowledge that it's where package management is headed for a large portion of the Linux space.

@adiz I'm in a similar position. As an Arch user before, and a Nix user now I am mostly indifferent to flatpaks as I don't use them at all. However, I acknowledge and understand the benefits to developers, and the overall Linux userbase that the Flatpak format provides. I think there's still room for traditional package management, especially in more niche cases with Nix, AUR, etc. But overall, flatpak should be the target for most people.

@fristi Peertube is getting a lot more people recently, though that is a slow and long grind lol. Just like the rest of Fedi.

@grunfink Is there any particular reason you cannot personally choose to reveal your followed by/following lists? Is it just a philosophical thing? I'm gonna move to snac when I get less lazy, and it'd be a nice thing to have.

@eltheanine Why did you decide to switch from pihole to adguard?
