Went #bouldering again this morning. Found a fun new loooong route on one wall that I managed to top after 2:15 ^^ (and one failed attempt where I managed to bump my head on a hold above me and promptly lost balance due to that)Fun route! Sadly had to dial back a bit on the arm strength heavy routes shortly after due to my elbow giving me trouble again, but all in all quite happy with today's workout! Also managed to top some other stuff I wasn't able to before 😊

Spent a beautiful week with my partner of now five years in the southern Black Forest, to celebrate our anniversary by taking a short time out in nature 😊While I'm admittedly not too thrilled to return to work again tomorrow, this was the kind of reset I needed and it did a lot in topping up my energy levels 🥰Apart from hiking and a wellness day in a spa, we also played through Rise of the Golden Idol in the evenings 😊 #relationshipGoals

Today's #bouldering session went better than Wednesday's, somehow I had more energy even though I have a busy week behind me now.I still need to be careful with my finger pulleys, avoiding crimps where I can, and the elbow is still annoying, but things seem to get better.

I rarely subtoot, but when I do just to say: if an open source project that your commercial project depends on breaks something in your software stack, causing you trouble, no matter how much, that's your problem and your problem alone."The software is provided as is" is a part of OSS licenses for a reason, and unless we have a contract that says otherwise, I'm not part of your bloody "supply chain".

Just received an email from YouTube that they'll soon enable autodubbing on the OctoPrint channel for new and soon also old videos. Hell no, every time I run into this AI shit when watching YouTube I just want to scream, it's THAT bad.Thankfully, there's a way to opt-out, and I just did that. And if you upload stuff to YouTube, for the love of all that is holy, PLEASE disable that too!Uncheck Channel Settings > Upload defaults > Advanced Settings > Automatic dubbing

There's a first time for everything. Just had to deny a registration request on the official OctoPrint plugin repository as the plugin the author tried to register turned out to be pretty much completely vibe coded. And in the end, even their communication seemed to be the output of an LLM.Unbelievably bad quality: tons of bugs, dead code, (future) vulnerabilities, ... I honestly haven't yet seen this amount of shittiness from a human developer, no matter how clueless.I hate this future.

I bought myself a miniature model train for/after Christmas, in Z scale, as I have been begging my dad for years now to set my parents' one up again without success. My plan is to build a small winter mountain diorama into a suitcase for easy storage, to then set up under the tree.And since I will also need some buildings, I just spent a few hours on the first steps of my first Faller set in decades 😄

Z scale aka 1:220 is really small! Considering that when I last built models like that they were in H0 aka 1:87 and that was around three decades ago I would say my eyes and hands work still well for my age 😄
