My little sister has one of the few pictures of me framed next to her degree.I don't talk to anyone in my family, she sent me pictures of my new niece, and for some reason her other daughter and my nephew all follow her lead in looking up to me.It confuses me, because I hate myself so much and can't see anything good about myself as being anything other than something to be taken advantage of, something to hide.I don't know how to be a brother.Or an uncle.Or anything.

You know… I don't mean to be negative.I'm happy to have work, even if today I slung four tons of steel (two hours of overtime) by hand.I'm happy that I have four days to pay more than I'll make between now and then before my landlord files eviction paperwork: that's four days to try and pay enough to buy time to pay more.I'm happy that my past due balance to get my power turned back on is only $817 which is about half of what it was the last time.So yeah, silver linings… the bright side.

What do you think?Forty acres, only cellphone service, not even electric hookups, thirty miles out of town off a dirt road, rent will be $500 a month.Need to min max for a bit, just hardcore grind the savings and reset my life.The caveat is that this forces me to progress to a new stage of my life, one that necessarily precludes certain things like potential interpersonal relationships.I guess it doesn't matter, I suppose I'm ready to be forever alone, finally.
