I just went through the thought experiment of writing a letter to myself in 1985 to try to explain what's going on 40 years later, in 2025. I actually tried to start writing the letter. But honestly, I had to stop. It was just too ludicrous to read.

Being #GenX, as a kid I was obsessed with astronauts and manned space flight in general - I even vaguely remember the first moon landing (I was 4). But now manned space flight appears to become just a way for feckless billionaires to act out their lame sci fi fantasies.They truly do ruin everything.

I keep circling around the idea of completely deleting my Google account (probably crazy since I have a Samsung Android phone, but I digress).Anyway, has anyone here actually done it?
