@beardalaxy it would be hard to formulate a catholic response addressing all the things you've brought up, and i'm no theologian, but i'll try to cover at least the concept of eternal damnation. God doesn't send anyone to hell, people send themselves there. there is not a single aspect of hell which is unjust. God still loves those who are in hell. purgatory, on the other hand, is the state of temporary suffering which heals the wounds of sin, after which a soul can enter heaven.

it is necessary that i remove all venial sin from my life so i may delete my fedi accounts at some point to avoid lust of the eyes in passing, i'll also most likely delete all my personal social media like instagram

will likely be deleting my account in the near future. i wish you all well and i think poast is great, i'm just cleaning up my online footprint and uniting my identity into one (i'm done with having multiple aliases and acting different in front of different groups). may come back some day.
