@fatboy I thought it was to be expected for Ubuntu-based distros to use Snap? Or was it Flatpak? (One of those anyways)Maybe there is a Gentoo-based (e.g. Sabayon/Mocaccino https://www.mocaccino.org/) or Arch-based distro, that would allow for more fine-grained package management without too much manual interaction? 🤷

The last DJs invited their friends, so the whole dancefloor was suddenly full of people looking out of place, being dressed much too fancy, and - of course - not dancing. But only after completely stopping the music because they didn't know how to operate the equipment. 😬...I am glad to report I have made it safely back to my resting place, teeth flossed, brushed and ready for my well deserved sleep. 😴

I get the suspicion that 80% of recent blog posts are written by statistical language models. They resemble coherent thoughts only in structure. But most of the time they just repeat the words in the heading multiple times and - if at all - cover the topic only superficially.I'd much rather look up peer-reviewd online resources (i.e. Wikipedia) for a brief overview and go into a library to get actual information.
