Doing a quick cull through /usr/dict/words ...gecko, gelding, get, geyser, gibbon, gibbous, giddy, gig, giggle, gild/gilt, gill, gimlet, gimmick, gimp, gingham, ginkgo, girder, girdle, girl, girth, give/gift, gizmo -- plus all words borrowed from German, such as gestalt, gesundheit.

@pluralistic "Herd immunity" might not be good science, but irrespective of that, it doesn't even make sense to talk about "herd immunity" when _no one_ has any immunity. These wackos doen't even understand the bad science they're citing!

What is the best XMPP client for Android? I'm looking for ease of use primarily. I want to give a recommendation to a non-techie friend of mine. My other criterion is that it not require a "real" phone number. Many apps still seem to require a phone number. I know I could get a phone# from google, but that's far from ideal as well. TIA!

@urusan trump did not "dismantle" the EPA. My sister-in-law and numerous friends work for the EPA; they did not lose their jobs. trump muzzled and neutered the EPA. But dismantled? nah.

I'm sorry.My feeling was that this essentially validates the old "surf the web" paradigm, while at the same time showing something of a lack of imagination, when maybe what we really need is innovation.
