       I read that #introductions are a thing. So here goes…After a years-long break from social media, I decided to take #Mastodon for a test-drive. I’m a long-time fan of #FOSS, use #Ubuntu as my daily driver, and appreciate the control and freedom that comes along with it.Professionally, I find myself writing a lot of #SQL, and have been leveraging #PowerShell to make things more automated and less error-prone.When free time happens, I enjoy #gaming, #cycling, and making great #BBQ.

       @mike This line from the article is what matters to me:"...the final standard will also be open to scrutiny for any weakness or flaws."To be sure, assurances from the NSA are not good enough. But if trusted experts in the field get behind it, I would feel somewhat better.
