Just came back from saying goodbye to my friend. He was transferred into a hospice a few days back. Super emotional time. Fuck Cancer

still coming to terms with Mike's passing too. There was something this week that i would have normally had a good old natter with him about. hit me hard that i'll not be having those conversations with him. Still, it was good to remember them too

finalee back in finuxstan after ClappyMonkey's funeral.FTR... it is hard to carry one of your best friends, coffin. AND it's even harder to speak at a funeral about one of your best friends. All of the means jack in the end, because it was an honour. As old as the cliche is, i loved him like a brother. I will always be grateful for the memories we shared. You will be missed.#FuckCancer

The passing of a very dear and close friend is something that's quite hard to process. Sometime's the loss you feel becomes so deep it can only change your reflection of the world. Every day I think about Mike Kemp, i miss him very much. Yet i also find strength in having had such a friendship/comrade/brotherly-bond Remember dear internet wanderers; tomorrow is not promised!

today i find myself in the unusual position of having to force my own annual leave on myself. As you know, i've had a hella of a 18 months. i'm depleted and in need of the R&R. it is easy to forget when leading people, you must lead yourself at the same time. no matter how inconvenient you might be to your own plans. peace Xx

Yesterday i got to be a good guy again. Sometime today a fellow geek with musical tendencies will be having a new looper pedal. Whilst this doesn't sound all that cool to you, he can now make his own backing tracks, vocal tracks, ad-hoc. I also got him a guitar a few months back, and i take much joy in him being musical again. Giving sometimes is it's own reward
