@fluffy ah no contest really, you can’t compare anything to a tough book :P there’s no ingress protection for instance. but it feels like it should hold up pretty good, especially for a thing made by hand in small quantities. It’s more like “well built” than “designed for abuse”. They make a nice vegan leather sleeve too.

@fluffy yep, I’d say it feels similar. doesn’t have quite the same internal rigidity / structure that those thinkpads did (and the reform bottom panel is plastic) but it makes up for it by being beefier on the outside I think :P I’ll need to lug it around a bit and see how it goes. My Novena for comparison never felt very practically to take anywhere at all

@fluffy with the caveat that I started a new job today so my computer hobby may not get much attention in the immediate future 😂

@fluffy eg I use this tool https://github.com/ThomasHabets/simple-tpm-pk11 but it’s only TPM 1.2 compatible, it seems like the interfaces to 2.0 are different

Nonsensical to see computer hackers upset about face masks. Oh no, it’s suddenly socially acceptable to look cyberpunk as hell while partially obscuring my identity and gaining protection against an invisible foe. How will this ever align with my values???

@mjg59 back in my old ISP days we never did NAT, just numbered everything on our internal networks from Internet space. those were the days
