@jrballesteros05 same, I actually only game on consoles. To be honest, I do have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, and it's not so bad in my opinion. Many of the games I wanted to play are on there, ready to play, granted they aren't truly mine but for me it makes sense at the present because paying $14.99 vs. $59 EACH game saves me money in the long run. I get you though, it's not the best thing and I wish game prices were just lower overall.

@mike my kids actually get into their old man's music and are right there headbanging with me even when I listen to black metal. I guess I'm lucky.

Surprised at the percentage of stock users so far and also surprised that LineageOS is the second highest voted option. Me over here on GrapheneOS feeling like an outsider, lol.

@PublicNuisance how has the usability for the PinePhone improved? From the videos I have seen, even recent ones, things weren't looking so great. Performance seemed very underwhelming especially on Plasma Mobile. Granted, it is highly likely due to the underpowered hardware but still.

@mike I'm curious as to what phone they are using in the video. It appears to be a Volla Phone, but it is possible it is something else. It does look slick indeed. The world needs a viable Linux option in the mobile space.

Highly recommended if you have a Google Pixel (I have a 4a) and want a privacy-focused Android ROM that is ridiculously easy to flash and that allows you to re-lock the bootloader.CalyxOShttps://calyxos.org/

Anybody out there using a Sony Xperia X model F5121 or F5122 with Ubports (Ubuntu Touch)? Interested in how it's working and running these days.

@metalune for me being the privacy advocate that I am it would be a tad hypocritical of me (perhaps debatable) to reveal my true identity online. Besides, does not the message matter more than the person behind it? My name, my face, who I am, where I am from, what I do or don't believe in is irrelevant. It's not that I have anything to hide, it's that I have nothing I want to show you.

@metalune there are many reasons, although what I responded with was my personal take on the matter. One reason is: say you use your true face as your profile picture for something online, there is the chance of someone taking a screenshot of that and using it for their own malicious purposes. Fake ID, impersonation, fraud, etc. Imagine someone makes a social media account using your face and name to imoersonate you, choosing to post extremist content. Would you want your employer to see that?

@Naughtylus sometimes it cannot be you who removes the veil from another's eyes. Sometimes, they must do it themselves.
