       @stefano text is preferable to video under normal circumstances, except when I need to learn something that is too hard or complex for my current attention power. So I will resort to video when it is too hard for me or when I am exhausted and still want to get *some* progress moving forward. And *maybe* the newer generations are living in a constant state of attention deficit due to overstimulation. Then video is more digestible.

       @stefano that’s exactly how it should be. The company can support and profit by selling parts and maintenance as long as they wish. As soon as they stop supporting the device, they are required to release all information necessary for other people to keep supporting, fixing and even repurposing the device. It is not too much to ask, it won’t cost more to the companies and they can still profit by selling parts and maintenance if they want.
