       Perhaps measuring wealth by assets that crater in value if you try to sell them isn't the best plan.

       @simon @timbray I’m really very baffled by the peple who post on a very public social network (not just mastodon) and yet still act like / think / insist they’re just talking to a few friends. There are social networks with robust privacy controls, but this isn’t one of them.

       @lauren @timbray I use an ad blocker (because too many ad companies have shown that they cannot be trusted), and also pay for YT Premium.  It’s one of the more expensive subscriptions I have, and worth every penny.
