       @Gina It is also not so easy because one really gets blind to these kind of issues very fast. Not only the responders, but also the users very quickly identify problems they solve with the actions (or workarounds) they have to do with the tool of choice ("i want to click on this button but it is not there" vs. "I want my coworker to have this kind of information in order to be able to make these kinds of decisions").Thats why external supervision/coaching or new colleagues are so helpful

       @eXeler0n Keine Ahnung wie es vorher aussah - ich sehe da ein ansehnliches Comic-Stil Männchen mit einer 90° nach links rotierten Deutschlandflagge. Da du so ins offene fragst: Die Flagge törnt mich ab, auch wenn sie von Stil eher zu "Café International" als mit "Café National" passt. Ich weiß so ungefähr welche Diskussionen an so etwas dranhängen können, und dass diese schwer in einen Tröt passen - aber wollte zumindest mal kurz "Flagge zeigen" ;)

       @Gina Very 2013: https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-21043693 . There was a discussion back then (by nerds) whether he should receive a promotion or be fired. Not sure if the source I gave above is the correct one.I'd tend to say: keep "lazy" people that deliver good stuff (I am a programmer though). And do not build business models based on secrets. The 2013 guy was fired, though.

       @Gina On the one hand yes, otoh I guess this was even more so a couple of decades ago.To me it sounds as if anxiety and self-worth issues are common among developers (at least the US based podcasts I listen to give me that image). And I wonder if that has to do with the feeling of oneself being a "product" (in the capitalist sense). But the same people also do not question what the employer actually contributes to overall humankind. It seems all so absent of "true" values.
