casual reminder that bra sizes in _most_ stores are not actually representing what most people would need to wear to have a really good fitting brageneral:the smaller the underbust band, the higher the letter of cup - without change of size!65D = 75Bsame cup size.for german sizes:the underbust band (the thing where the clip is on) needs to be about 10 smaller than what you would measure with a tape measure in cm. so if a tight fitting tape measure gets a result of 75cm, the underbust should be a 65.(why is this you ask? because sizes were correct when non-elastic material was used. since nowadays underbust bands are almost always made from elastics, you need it to be stretched a lot to get actual support from it. and the undebrust band _is_ where the support comes from. if the support mostly comes from the straps, its a) less support b) bad for posture and can easily induces back pain and c) looks just silly. straps keep it in place, underbust band gives support)resulting in most people needing a smaller underbust band than available, with a higher letter for cup. a combination that is just not available in _most_ stores.
