@uncles_lumbago @tfmonkey The only news articles I see about Dorsey, involve him making mealy-mouthed apologies and platitudes about how freedom is important on the internet, and about how Twitter "needs to do better". I'm sure he cries into his stock portfolio every night.

@coolhandjames My understanding is that they are going to add a cheaper "ad-supported" tier, to compliment the current ad-free subscriptions. But you just know they're going to push the boundaries with that.We use Netflix mainly because we want our kids to be ad-free for as long as possible, and not get funneled into RYAN'S TOY REVIEWS every time they watch something. It's getting harder to do that though...

@sloppyhog Per some articles, "they" are on hormone therapy, ostensibly to get their body to conform to their perceived gender... but then they also insist on using they/them pronouns. What is the point of hormone therapy if you don't want to identify as one gender or another?

@genetic_failure I remember when hiring for a new teammate- I did my usual basic googling, and found that the guy had been sued by a former employer for doing something similar.I feel bad for whistleblowers, because they get blackballed by their industry no matter how justified their cause was. For better or worse, nobody in management wants to hire a snitch.
