@Aflowernamedyou I think the term separatism kinda evokes full isolationism so it's been a hard sell but I like your method and I've been doing it for a while now. Wasn't even a feminist thing. It was a "I much prefer media by women and with women" thing. In general, I don't play male characters, watch shows without at least half women in the main cast or read books without female protagonists. The works have to be really good for me to disregard the lack of female involvement. I also just don't engage in hobbies where I cannot congregate with like minded women. Fortunately my YouTube feed is only content that would interest me usually by female creators. I do have 2 male creators I've subbed to though.

@Aflowernamedyou Oh I mean that when the term comes up in radfem spaces, it often means complete or near complete isolation which hasn't been enticing many. So by contrast, I much prefer your take on it as it's pretty much been my MO. I went to a girl's only school first grade to graduation. I think it was very beneficial. I thought at first it would make it hard to socialize with or understand men. But I understand just fine. They just can't empathize with women.

I think I just cemented my Karen status. Been dealing with customer service for a month and I'm done. This all stemmed from me letting myself be pushed around by some scrote when I made my initial order. Never again. Now they'll get the Karen from the get go. Just remember, often the call you Karen because you decided to stand your ground. Don't let them deter you!

@Chronic-Yonic Isn't it weird how an overwhelming amount of scenes feature the woman as submissive and the man as dominant? I'm sure that has nothing to do with the patriarchy. BSDM is good and progressive after all. Nothing wrong at all with needing to hurt someone to get off. The huge amount of abusers in the community? What community doesn't have a few bad eggs?

@susansiens @Flick I have done baking soda and antibiotics (at different times). Both worked for me but of course I had to keep taking the antibiotics for a week. I will warn against natural methods if the pain is acute and it's been more than a day (eg pain all the time and not just when peeing). At that point, you are risking kidney damage. Dialysis is a b***** so don't risk it.

@chilady2022 I occasionally miss it but I just focus on the negatives starting with my gut health. Oh and the time I woke to a piece of poop on my dining chair with no idea how it got there.

@senryu Tbh, I don't think that sentence is very different than what most would get for that crime with a clean record. At least not in any major city in the US. Most prosecutions plead out instead of going to trial. As much as I hated his appt, I think it's fair.
