@Wolven The writers and actors unions did a good job of framing AI as a labor issue during the strikes—arguing (accurately, I think) that we should all think of AI as a tool built on and for the extraction of surplus value from workers.

@futurebird Not impossible to read at all! There are essentially two loosely parallel stories, the main story and a second story told through the footnotes. Imho you can ignore the footnotes story if you find it harder to follow or less rewarding (I’ve reread the main book a few times, but haven’t revisited the footnotes). The main story (called “The Navidson Record” in the book) is High Backrooms Horror.
