@Unabart it's Totensonntag, Eternity Sunday. I think there was even a rule against dancing on that day.Seems odd, OTOH maybe not everything needs to be sacrificed on the altar of money. Cause face it, Christmas markets are just money generators anyway.

@Unabart it's not like it's a surprise - that is all factored in. Also anyone who wants to go to these markets knows that and plans around it to go another day. I doubt there's a single lost sale because of it.

@Unabart not bad for 1200 close to Frankfurt. Around here there'd be a line of people twice around the block for that.No parking sucks. Sometimes you can rent a spot in a parking structure somewhere but if not then its kinda useless.

@Unabart nah there are differences galore. Like the wine villages west of the Rhein are nice. If you like villages.But of course if you want hip and modern then it's the big cities. And 2k+ rent for anything half decent. And still no parking or another 300 per month on top.

@selea @Szwendacz yeah, reinforcing that. Sending mail from residential IPs is a waste of time.Get a small VPS with fixed IP4 *and* IP6 addresses at a reputable hoster, and either run your mail there or do some fancy tunneling or relaying from your actual mail server at home.

@Unabart at this point any major thing like a root canal or even unclear pain I'm just getting the fscker ripped out and replaced with an implant. Had one done and it's just awesome. They put a nut in your jaw which grows in over a couple months and then a new tooth just screws into it. No nerves, no pain ever again. Rad.Anyway good luck over the fscking holidays. If things turn sour call 116117 and they'll direct you to your local emergency room.

@Unabart they will usually cover the labor but not the lab and material. Same as with gold teeth. I paid about 1200 for mine out of pocket. Hella worth it.
