Posts boosted by this account still require doing your own homework.This is just a first-pass filter, taking out the "dudes who have never run an instance using the hashtag for their musings on how things *probably* work" and "admins of blocked instances using their alts to fill the hashtag with noise" posts.Not everything that comes through is necessarily block-worthy.

Rather than boosting them as they trickle (back) in, I've decided to skip over all the calls for folks to block things that are already in the oliphant-social blocklist here: https://writer.oliphant.social/oliphant/the-oliphant-social-blocklistPart of the point of this account is to filter all the duplication out of #fediblock, so there's no real call for me to boost things any admin worth their salt should already know about.

I haven't seen a good post to boost updating the info on mastodon.top, so here's a rare original post from me: the admin has closed signups and suspended the accounts with the skeevy link, but that may take time to propagate to your site. (Always check the original site, not your own, to confirm user-suspends.)They still have a lot of other spam accounts and have simply said the problem is "resolved," so some admins are removing the block, others are leaving it in place for now.#fediblock

@chlopmarcin The admins of sites that aren't blocked can certainly reply legitimately to the original poster and be given links to the proof.The admins of your site don't get to demand proof, they know what they did.If you're not an admin then all you need to know is that your admins haven't denied anything, they've just insisted that there is no proof.
