Good morning tooters. Apparently it’s raining except I’m looking at a blue sky with very few clouds around. The weather is crazy, it was a warmish night last night & is currently about 9c heading to 20c. The radar shows rain is coming, maybe we’ll get some, maybe we won’t 🤷🏼♀️. Going to have a quiet day at home today not doing very much at all, I’m just not in the mood. Anyway - hope everyone enjoys their #Thursday. Take care out there 🌻.

Good morning tooting friends. It is going to be a lovely day. I put the heater on first thing when I woke as it was just 3c, but it’s now about 7c & I’m very warm so I’ve turned it off. The sun is just hitting the garden & shining into the back bedroom & it should get to a pleasant 18c today. I am in need of a structured exercise class I think. Work my joints. The back & knee feel fine today but for some reason my right foot & ankle are hurting 🤷🏼♀️. I do have a big bunion (lucky me) on that foot, so it could be related to that although it’s not normally an issue.I won’t be visiting my sister this morning, she rang last night to say she’s unwell & has been for a few days. She is supposed to be in Melbourne for hear tests on Wednesday so I hope it doesn’t get put off as she needs a procedure done sooner rather than later. Hopefully I’ll be able to get out into the garden & add the little extension to my garden bed, set it in place. It’s not hard & it’s not big, just a job I’ll be on my knees doing. Even if I don’t complete it, it’ll be a start. I can see my Lions Ear is flowering as wellHave a great #Sunday everyone, hope you all have a fabulous day. #Weather .Exercise #Family #Garden

Good morning tooters. It was -1c when I got up today, but the frost hadn’t settled. It has now, but not very heavy in my garden & there is a thin layer of ice in the birdbath. It’s now just 1.4c but the *feels like* is -1c. We’re only heading to 15c today too but it is going to be lovely & sunny. My Les Mills app has been playing up & I thought it must need updating, but no - it doesn’t appear in the App Store anymore for this region 🤷🏼♀️. I could still use it, but it would take a bit to clear the error msg. Luckily there are other Les Mills apps, so I’ve downloaded & logged into a new one & it looks very interesting. I’m going to try a routine called Shapes to check it out, it looks to be part yoga & weights & seems interesting. Something new to explore. In some good news, I’ve received a msg from my niece telling me my sister has been moved from ICU onto a ward finally. I’m going to visit her before lunch today. There’s a lot of family dramas going on & I’m removing myself from it, it’s for the immediate family to determine how to proceed. Good morning tooters. It is very wet & drippy outside - 6c but feels lower with the wind. Lucky me, a max of 8c today 🙃. I’m glad I managed to keep the fire going overnight. It’s been a very long time since I’ve had a wood fireplace to deal with & it’s lovely & warm. I don’t really mind a nothing day watching the box & I am glad I gave the dogs a big walk yesterday because they won’t get one today. I’ve only just given the chickens 🐓 their breakfast as I had to wait for the rain to ease a little at least & even they had the sense to stay undercover. The broody chook is lovely, lets me stroke her, she’s very placid. My vertigo has come back, happened when I went to bed - damnit. I’ll do the exercises over the day - what fun 😵💫. I know it’ll go eventually but it is quite disconcerting - & tiring funnily. A friend is coming to visit for lunch today, I brought out 2 lots of my pumpkin soup for it. Just the day for soup 🥣 . Good morning tooters. A big fog has descended on Chiltern, everything is soggy & wet with more rain to come. It’s about 6c this morning & it should get to 13c, 100% humidity. I head home this morning, just a short stay here this time. So I’ll start getting things sorted out & packed up shortly. I’ll just take my time as my vertigo is a little on & off this morning 😵💫. don’t want to aggravate it. I’ve noticed that trying to read, book or be online is a little bit of an issue with it too. So I won’t be on here much either. No walk for the doggos again this morning, it’s just too wet out & not worth washing the sheets I used. I’ll just strip the bed & put them in the machine for the home owners. I must admit I’ll be happy to be home & in my own space again especially at the moment. Good morning tooters. I woke up from a dream filled sleep where I was carrying a teeny tiny miniature horse, had a beautiful leather backpack & was in Shepparton - yeah, I have no idea either 🤷🏼♀️😂. Very foggy & a cold 🥶 0c when I got up, no frost of course, too damp from the rain yesterday. It’s still only about 4c & will be a cloudy overcast day with a top of 12c. Trying to pick an exercise class for today while also figuring out how the new Les Mills app works. I’ll make a decision once I’m ready to do a class. I’ll be going down to my sisters after lunch, firstly because she has a cardiologist appointment this morning & secondly to say goodbye to my niece who is heading back to Perth tomorrow. The other niece who lives in Wodonga will then move in, maybe temporarily, maybe permanently. My sisters mobility is still a big issue. My walk around the river did me a lot of good. I’m not sure if I’ve shared a photo of this before but anyway its of a very old bridge in an area on the Victoria side of the river called Smugglers Corner & was where smugglers would get across many years ago. It’s slowly falling down & disappearing into history. It was a beautifully sunny but cold day out there. I cleared my head, made plans & thought about what to write in the letter to my brother. Nearly lunchtime when I got home & I divided up the casserole I made yesterday into 4 portions, including one for tonight. Roasted up some sweet potato & added that to the containers. At dinner time I’ll cook up some greens to add to the same containers & freeze them as ready meals leaving one out to warm through for tonight’s dinner.

Good morning tooting friends. A lovely 12c when I woke up & today it will reach 33c. Nit appealing to me, but it could be a lot worse & will be later next week. I’m basically all packed up & cleaned up, ready to go home, one small bag to go in the car now. Just waiting for the washing to finish & to hang out & I’m done & can head away. I’ll actually be back in Chiltern on the 8th at my other regular sit, but just for 4 days. My sister is apparently coming home from hospital today. I’ve been told she doing well but I will drop down & visit her to reassure myself & spend a bit of time. I might leave it until later in the day though as I’m also going to my daughters for a rare pizza night with them, my son & his family are coming in for it too - family night 😁. My sister lives half way between my daughters & my place. It just makes sense. Happy #Friday people, the weekend is nearly here.
