       @ML2 @ianbetteridge @gruber It's hard to say based on that, I think. I've worked with at least two companies where the status page says everything is fine while things are on fire and have seen the AWS status page taking forever to update while I'm experiencing a problem.Basically, I think most companies have manually updated status pages.

       @simon I think that is a good idea and realistically the best way to fund open source at the moment. Though I am of the opinion open source should be dual licensed so companies do have to pay some money simply for using their work. It's kind of crazy developers are happy to basically give away things of great value for "exposure”. I understand why because it can just be easier that way but I'm not sure it's healthy.

       @stux @Mastodon I've download it to test it. I'll admit I'll probably stick with Ivory but the app is quite nice.I'm paying to the patreon. No shame for those who can't do it but if people can, it's worth considering.

       @stux could always suggest a flight around the world. Time the flight time and they stay awake to take periodic videos of the way the out is moving to prove it’s always in the same direction. Then if the last hop is shorter than it is to turn around they have their proof. The cost might help cement it in folk’s heads to think twice about internet theories.Or go up a mountain if one is near by and high enough to see the earth curve but I’m sure flat earthers have a theory for that
