@linuxnews @Tanzbaer Leistung haben sie, out of the box funktionieren sie, aber im geschäftlichen Einsatz hielt selbst ein Gerät der Business-Reihe nur 9 Monate durch, bis es nach mehreren vergebliche Reparaturversuchen zerknirscht zurückgenommen wurde. Das dann gekaufte Infinity Book Pro 13 hielt marginal länger durch, verbrachte aber mehrere Wochen bis Monate seiner Garantiezeit in Reparatur, war also nicht nutzbar, und wurde 5 oder 6 Mal getauscht. Dazu immer wieder unbrauchbarer/unmotivierter Support (Austauschgerät kam, und zeigte direkt nach Auspacken den selben oder einen anderen Fehler, der es unbenutzbar machte - mehrfach. Mutmeltiertagfeeling). Ich würde ja sagen, für den nächsten Tuxedo, den ich benutze, muss Tuxedo mir Geld zahlen statt umgekehrt, aber aus beruflichen Gründen (freier Journalist im Nebenberuf, ich habe auch schon Laptops getestet) kann und will ich das nicht ernsthaft fordern.

@foone USB was a mistake, just as PS/2. We should be using DIN and DB9 plugs to this day!

@tomjennings Taking a closer look at this design, I would say the downside is that the two tensioning rollers are in contact with the side of the paper that's facing the screen. This could be fixed by placing them in the upper and lower back corners, with diagonally-mounted springs. This would mean the two scroll spools would have to be placed in the center. The axis of the upper screen-side roller could double as the axis for the lid hinge. It will be easier to load a full scroll spool in the bottom, where you don't have to support its weight while mounting it, so for such a design, the natural order of things would be full spool at the bottom, empty one at the top.Sorry, had to nerd out for a moment.
