I was a lurker on r/ #gendercritical but it was one place that gave me some sanity in this world. Pretty devastating to see such a big sub get banned but hoping it will just be a wake up for more lurkers from the sub who finally want to show their presence! #reddithateswomen

@Melkora @BCLADY @Hollahollara @MandyJane This argument feels a bit close to the TRA mindset of "don't engage with terf content. just block and report. stay safe ♡" You can look at content from sources you don't agree with and still critically analyse what they are saying. Sometime it's looking at the shit men say for a reality check and how it is shit or how they twist opinions to suit them. It's a way to stay updated as men too come up with ridiculous stuff.

@Tiggy I've also been thinking lately how roleplaying especially in the yaoi/bl/slash/whateveranyonecallsit part or fandoms leads to girls believing they could be guys. It's so predominantly female that encountering males just is extremely rare. And males in their fantasy could be way more harmless than in real life. While I barely managed to avoid ever even considering being anything but a woman, many people I've known in various fandoms I've been in are either full tra+lgbt or some favour of transqueer. My guess many got gradually trapped into the ideology as it wasn't always such big part of fandoms. While nowadays it's impossible to escape the love for T. (From Hetalia you both sound younger than me as the height for me in that fandom was in livejournal and forums/msn messenger.)@meogsis

@susansiens @LadyCulpepper @RockTheBoat Seriously, be more critical of your supposed non-mainstream sources. I can painfully feel how any of these comments lacks any criticism towards Russia and the dynamic between Russia and any of the countries sharing borders with it in Europe. First of, what exactly does Russia even need to defend against? Putin is the one always causally bullying all the neighbours and then acts surprised about Europe joining together in defence. Don't the former soviet countries remember how life used to be under Russian control. Or how many were deported just so there wouldn't be anyone to resist the Soviet control. You accuse Ukraine having a government installed by the US, as if a government installed by Putin could be a better option for Ukraine. You're saying as if Russia attacking and starting this war is a complete hoax, while journalists from other countries currently staying in Ukraine definitely are reporting bombings against ukrainian civilians. You're underestimating too badly how deep Russian propaganda can go. Russian news media literally cannot report anything Putin doesn't want them too or they get fined. News sites from elsewhere in the russian language are getting blocked in Russia. What does it mean for other countries with a significant Russian population if Putin would be just allowed to invade them just bc allegedly some russian locals are crying about discrimination? By that logic Putin could march into Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland any day he suddenly gets an urge for some excitement. Donetsk and Luhansk are just perfect puppets to use as an excuse. (Higly likely literally puppets to Putin.)

@TheWitchBitch I tend to lurk more but I still like to check back once in a while at least. Gives me some sanity. I do miss some of the users who did more shitposting :') Would encourage more jokes besides on just serious post
