I distinctly remember a Teriyaki place I used to go to a few years ago that had interior decoration straight from the 80's. That and all the Japanese decoration gave it a really Vaporwave vibe. They got rid of their neon and modernize their interior design. I was tempted to tell the owner that he ditched his old stuff just as it was coming back into vogue.
