@Radical_EgoCom Totally in for it! It's one of the demands made by the social democratic party of my country. Unfortunately; taking care of children, sick and/or very old people requires many working hours. And even sadder: this is often not even understood as being hard and valuable work.We need more workers (refugees welcome!) who stem this type of work together (and get paid for it); and less women who silently sacrifice all their time and health for others, including their own family.

@Radical_EgoCom My country - Austria - now has a communist mayor in one of our larger cities: https://www.thenation.com/article/world/elke-kahr-interview/ Sadly the national communist party (KPÖ) on the other hand is making a bad impression (for the upcoming 2 large elections) because of their good relations with Russia. However: isn't that the main problem of communists in most democratic western countries nowadays? While most right-wing populists are actually being paid by Russia, but THEIR voters don't even care?!

@Radical_EgoCom Interesting! I had not expected this argument against voting for the KPÖ. I was actually thinking about supporting them since they are anti-fascists and actually do think a LOT more "globally" than many other Austrian parties. Talking about wanting to fight world hunger and exploitation of workers in goods chains, and so on. https://www.kpoe.at/wofuer-wir-stehen/international/Unfortunately though they do not want to support Ukraine against the Russian murderers anymore, so... *sigh*

@Radical_EgoCom Oh, that's for sure! Still, elections are coming up (national and EU parliament), and abstention from voting is not a good option. I hate those very anti-democratic percent hurdles (thresholds) both elections will have :( Smaller parties won't have much of a chance -_-
