the term "spanking" needs to die. spanking is beating. both in intent and effect. the intent is to alleviate the adults aggression and the effect is identical. no high minded reasoning holds water when we have studies proving that the psychological impact on the child is identical. we cant allow child abusers to hide behind the term any longer.
