I think I'm gonna have to call it quits on Silksong.I explored all I could, got all the upgrades I could manage, even found all the fleas, but I'm completely walled by the remaining bosses. I got many health and spool upgrades, many tools and crests, even two different guns, but they're still too hard for me. Doesn't help that two of the bosses that are walling me are doing so in part because of legibility issues (one has lots and lots of flashing light moves that I find blinding, the other has too much stuff going on in the foreground and I can't see their moves right).It's making me sad, because Hollow Knight is my favorite metroidvania, but Silksong is just too frustrating and exhausting and straight up mean most of the time for me to enjoy. The parts I had the most fun with were the platforming challenges, the Cogwork Dancers boss fight, and finding fleas for them to go "awoo". My headcanon is that Hornet just left with the flea caravan and enjoys a life of floofiness away from Pharloom.

Looking back, the GBA has tons of great RPGs :bunhdthink:Golden Sun, Mario & Luigi, Final Fantasy Tactics, Mother 3, the Fire Emblem games, all the Pokémon games (including the Mystery Dungeon one) the Mega Man Battle Network series. Lots of good ports too like the Breath of Fire and Final Fantasy ports.All very cozy games to have on a handheld :neocat_melt:
