I have a modest proposal and request. Would anyone be interested in joining an Apple "recognized" user group for #HyperCard? I'm putting a user group together named "Vintage Apple HyperCard User Group" VintaHUG. You don't need to be a HyperCard creator to join. Just an interest in HyperCard is enough!If you are interested, I would like to know. I am filling out the registration form and need a count of "members". So, I did a thing. Adventure!, my mostly text adventure game, has a website - https://quackofdawn.com. I will post progress updates and eventually a demonstration version of the game for download. The “schedule” is to have a draft of the manual for the game and editor by #MARCHintosh 2025 with box sets ready for purchase at #VCFMW 2025. Stay tuned for more info!

@ActionRetro I need to try this. I sort of gave up on A/UX since it's unforgiving when it comes to extending. This appears to be more tolerant.

@futurebird @FiddleSix my father was unemployed for a year in the 70’s. We ate a lot of potatoes and onions, government cheese, tuna helper was a treat. To this day I am in the habit of never tossing anything out and overstocking on canned goods.

Recapped this lovely PS/2 trackball/mouse for my L40 SX laptop. It’s an odd beast that is a bit awkward as a trackball - I don’t care for the button placement. And unusable when converted to mouse mode. It does work now so that’s nice.
