@flickingfeathers @aarnegranlund I think that is a good idea unless you go somewhere to do multiple different types of fishing activities 😊 I’m a minimalist when it comes to fly fishing, so I usually carry a small sling bag with a couple of small fly boxes, 4/5/6x tippets, a shot container, a floatant, and a couple of replacement leaders, which are sufficient for my type of fishing 😉#FlyFishing #FlyTying #Nature #Creek #Stream #Hiking #Walking

Irishtown Run, PAThis is a tiny tributary of Black (Hayes) Creek, which is a tributary of Lehigh River, which is a tributary of Delaware River 😊The water is cool - 15C/59F even at around 5 PM in mid-June - I saw a couple of tiny trout (I think) darting into under the rock 😉 Not really worth fishing, I just like walking along the stream, somehow it calms my nerve 🤔 #Mindfulness #FlyFishing #Nature #Walking #Creek #Outdoor

Ridley Creek State Park, PAIt was very hard to fly fish – the creek was full of colorful fallen leaves 😐Slow moving water – full of leaves on the surface. Shamona Creek - a tributary of East Branch Brandywine Creek, PASpending the morning checking around creeks in the Downingtown area while my son is in a soccer training session. Too muddy after rain, I didn’t fish 🙁 It looks like a good creek, there are nice walking trails along the creek 😊 There are some good looking spots.
