Hi! I'm new here, even if I was active in an other instance before, so I thought it was a good time for writing an #introduction. So, here we go!I'm Emmanuel Wald, trainee #pastor in a French united (#Lutheran and #Reformed) church. I serve in a parish of Alsace, the easternmost cultural region of metropolitan France. @bortzmeyer je suis pas programmeur, mais j'avoue que si je l'étais, et que j'apprenais que mon bout de code avait été utilisé pour faire fonctionner un drone assassin ou le site web de Reconquête (deux exemples au hasard), je le vivrais mal.

@bortzmeyer Je pensais aux exécutions extra-judiciaires dans mon message, qui c'est vrai n'était pas clair à cet égard. Quant aux bonnes causes… je crois que oui, je vivrais mieux le fait d'aider l'effort de guerre ukrainien que russe. Mais bien sans doute aucun des deux. On a par définition aucune maitrise sur qui et comment le code est utilisé, et l'armée ukrainienne, même si sa cause est bonne reste une armée en guerre, et il y a toujours des exactions dans ces cas-là.

@boilingsteam I do not know exactly. Most published things are about technical things I do not understand, but that was already like that when I was more active. I am more present on the Fediverse now than then, so maybe it replaced Gemini in my Internet routine.

@EU_Commission This graph is useless without comparison with representative partners without FTA. And the value of trade is one criterion to judge the benefits of the FTAs, and maybe not the principal of we want to fight climate change and relocalize our economies.

@lord @wikipedia_fr Un·e journaliste, un·e historien·ne, un·e sociologue, … l'important c'est qu'il y ait des sources en dehors de Wikipédia. La mission d'une encyclopédie c'est de rassembler le savoir, pas de le créer, et vu que Wikipédia n'est pas écrite par des spécialistes, c'est doublement important.
