I can't remember if I've talked about this lately, but I was reflecting on my relationship with social media. Often times, I want to post a photo as a brag. Enjoying travels, good self esteem, what have you. The thing is: who is my target audience? Random strangers? What good does that do for me?Who am I trying to impress? The people who already like me?Or the richer, more successful people- who probably forget I exist until we run into each other at a occasional birthday, wedding, holiday? Or the girls my age who aren't even my friends to begin with?So I ask myself, whats the point?

Your new neighbors Found in a local Georgia fb group. No papers, they need to live in a high demand area, 5 people so they need room for all that. No papers, though. But they can pick and choose where to live. Wonder how much they can afford?Wouldn't it be nice to have a family of 5 and be able to have people post in a high income area for housing on your behalf? Wouldn't it be nice to get offered free everything and politicians clamoring on your behalf?

Compare & contrast2 hair dressers2 single parents. I know of 2 couples in my friends group. Both females are hair dressers. Couple A met a while ago. She is single, never married, no kids. She met a good looking, hardworking single dad. He has 1 son. They hit it off and even bought a business together this year. Every few months, she posts a wedding dress for sale on fb market place. She has made a comment to a mutual friend about being hopeful for an engagement but it hasn't happened yet, to my knowledge.Couple B met around 2 years ago. The female has 2 daughters. I thought he was more jaded, done with relationships, and wanted to live out his days with freedom and leisure. I guess something changed because he was going to the kid's sports games and in family pictures. He recently proposed. Wonder why the single dad doesn't buy a ring? think he is making alimony or child support payments and doesn't want another expense? I run a hobby group and most people in the group/interest are liberals. Basic, npc, fluoride stare, democrat voters. At some points, there have been topics and criticism that I am prepared to receive. However, this group is meant to be uplifting and light hearted. I want my attendees to have fun and learn a thing or two. I don't want to discuss politics or current events in this group. Next week's discussion is a comedy about hitler. Face palm. Hopefully it won't be too messy.

Observation, and would like to hear input or perspectives.Amber alerts that come across my phone are, very often, a missing child who is with a parent. I get it that it's about the parent not having custody. And then the other parent, presumably who should have custody, calls it in. Sometimes it's a grandparent. Anyways. Just my observation, kind of annoying. In the past, I imagined an amber alert being issued with a frantic mother at the police station, her child being whisked away by some gypsy woman or creepy incel from a playground or store. Nope, it's always a child with a parent. While I feel bad for the child being traumatized, I honestly don't want the maury/Jerry springer drama buzzing my phone.
