Bruh, can you get any more condescending and derive? You speak down to me as if I don't already understand that it is the case. The only thing I expect from people is the common decency of social etiquette. To treat people nice and fairly and to be treated fairly back in turn. That doesn't mean I expect to be platformed anywhere or would get otherwise butthurt if someone one day decided not to.I engage with a relatively small collective of people I have followed who share similar interests as I do. Those social groups happen to overlap with others so I'll offer a reply on anything I see pop up, whether that be [positive]() and appreciated in the case of @chumii or negative and otherwise unwelcomed in the few examples you've personally witnessed. That doesn't make me a reply guy, that makes me someone with an opinion no different from any other person on the Fediverse. What you dislike is me tagging you in supposed arguments that you have absolutely no interest in or otherwise find value in. I on the other hand feel very differently on the matter after observing a frightening shift toward authoritarian sentiment in society being perpetrated through minorities and other vulnerable groups. I don't delve too deeply into the politics of that as it is not the point of my reply to you. But when I do opt to engage with someone on a topic that may prove to be sensitive or uncomfortable, it isn't done with the intention to harm or upset someone but rather to shed light on this concerning trend. Whether I do come across as an asshole or not may vary depending on how I am engaged. But something you may have even noticed yourself is that at no point do I diminish the subject by calling a person a slur, sending death threats, or attacking them for their choices in life. If people decide to do that of their own accord as has been the case then that is on them, but you can't say that I am engaging in degenerate behavior simply by politely disagreeing with someone on their politics.
