@alejandrobdn You should vote with your money. Don't buy a Google/Apple required phone. Don't buy smart home devices that are cloud connected. Ask your colleagues and family to do the same. I am slowly learning to do this myself, and it is a bit of a struggle.Sure, it will be less convenient. It will be more expensive. But that is what it costs.

@EU_Commission you also need to legislate away the dark design practises such as the overly used "legitimate interest" and the existence "accept all" with no "reject all"

Random thought: are there valid situations where a binary program mutates itself at startup to optimize itself? I could imagine a situation, where depending on a command line option, conditional jumps are changed into noops -- if the compile time flag says "do not show verbose output" all such code paths can be eliminated upfront.Seems to be overly complicated, but quite cool.
