@futurebird blockchain can be run with minimal power use, the problem is competitive prof of work. If blockchain used prof of trust the problem of power would go away. My preference would be consensus based prof ot trust, where all stake holders must agree on who will sign the next block.

@futurebird @astory evolution occurs in two steps. Genetic drift, and natural selection. When the gen pool contacts it may center on the same position again, assuming a local maximum has been found. The gen pool will only centre around a new position if their exist a better fit for the environment.Of course the world is more complicated then the models I base the above assertion on.

@futurebird allowing renaming of spices could increase interest in the sciences in general. Their exist an anecdote of some professor being asked if he would rather have a Nobel prize, or an element named after him. His answer was clear "every classroom has a periodic table". It would be nice if the name of some researchers could be spoken in reference to what they studied.

@futurebird oh we can. But in humans intelligens is corollated with all sorts of maladepted behaviour. It's hard to tell exactly why this is, but I am partial to the neroeconmic answer. it's expensive to invent new ways of thinking. The more intelligent you are the easier it is to mangel a broken thought pattern to fit new reality.

@MelissaBearTrix @jackyanThe bigger question is final sales price, cars are commodities they will sale at some price.A change I have seen is tesla branded cars are more visible, indicating that people are valuing them less*. Most people have more cars then protected parking places, forcing them to reserve them for higher valued cars. *Might also be that they are more notable given the current circumstance.
