@kuketzblog Könnten Google, Cloudflare, etc. die IP-Adressen, die über die Benutzung von Signal und die beim normalen Surfen reinkommen, nicht am Ende wieder zusammenführen?

@jrballesteros05 @koreymoffett Well, part of the "emacs way" is to adapt #Emacs to your needs. (e.g. configuring your own keyboard bindings)

@xpil No, because people don't use PCs (and laptops) anymore. They use "smart" devices instead. So, we as a community have to consider this, if we want people to use Free/Libre Software.

"Difficult situation on campus. Traffic jam of automated food delivery robots, apparently all stuck behind a carelessly discarded scooter. I just observed a couple of students clearing a path out of pity for the robots. This is our future, I guess" – @seanhechthttps://nitter.pussthecat.org/seanhecht/status/1493432613628825600#m

"The reckless, infinite scope of web browsers"https://drewdevault.com/2020/03/18/Reckless-limitless-scope.htmlThe total word count of the W3C specification catalogue is 114 million words at the time of writing. If you added the combined word counts of the C11, C++17, UEFI, USB 3.2, and POSIX specifications, all 8,754 published RFCs, and the combined word counts of everything on Wikipedia’s list of longest novels, you would be 12 million words short of the W3C specifications.#Firefox #Chrome #w3c #FreeSoftware

"I conclude that it is impossible to build a new web browser. The complexity of the web is obscene. The creation of a new web browser would be comparable in effort to the Apollo program or the Manhattan project."
