       for the older users on here:use this as another opportunity to strengthen mastodon. open up to new people, talk to them, engage them. help them find communities on here that they fit into best, even if that isn't yours. the more we engage, the better we retain.we want to keep as many new people as we can, to perpetuate the ideas this platform stands on, and to drive decentralization into the mainstream.
