Also I should not be putting THAT leg forward in the future because that’s the leg where I got kicked by a damn horse. Same ER doc who gave me a shot in the butt that made me absolutely SHRIEK with pain. I told the guy “you hit a nerve!” and he was like oh pshaw if I’d hit a nerve you would be on the ceiling right now!” And I had no feeling in that buttock for like the next 20 years. I was correct and he was being a sexist a-hole.

The one I had guessed correctly was chocolate. Because there are sooo many words that come from Nahuatl, and I knew chocolate was a Mexico thing, so… nice job Frosty

Even Bandcamp songs need editing on the ID3 tags. They never seem to fill in the total-songs field (how many songs on the album). Or the genre. Pretty much all music I import needs editing, to bring up to my high standards of librarianship. Blah blah blah tagging

Well I think I’ve done all the album-matching that I can. Got about 1200 releases that can’t currently be matched, a lot of them not exactly “releases” in the strictest sense. Unofficial releases? So that may be the best I can do for now. As it stands I have 120,094 tracks in there, on 7956 “albums”, among 3506 artists. Yay!! I’ve been working on this digital collection since the late 90s I reckon. The vinyl collection goes back a lot longer of course, but I don’t have as much as I used to.

Just did a lil band practice with Chris - more like he has to come over to help Edith get her shit together! I’m pretty rusty but it’s a start. At least I know what’s easy and what needs work. I’m gonna have to start playing guitar every day to build up those left arm muscles again. I was feelin the burn!

I also played my “new” Omnichord, which I got like a year ago &amp; have barely touched. Had to get familiar with the new layout &amp; how the buttons work. Took me a minute but it’s great, I love it. This is my 3rd Omnichord, a nice modernization of the other 2 I should probably get rid of. But no USB audio? No midi over Bluetooth? No built-in 4-track recorder? Haha just kidding, I’m just glad it’s a stable playable instrument. Probably the most playable of all electronic instruments I can think of.

I’ve never played a REAL autoharp. I really want one. Also wanna play with a harmonium, Chris was talking about that. He’s in a band the Coffee Sergeants that has a full-time harmonium player, like on every song! A rock band too! Chris calls it the magic carpet of sound.
