Sadly no stream is working for me without buffering and crashing right now.On the bright side: I won’t have to work in January and can spend that time watching everything I missed.I am incredibly thankful to all of the people who make #rC3 possible and I want to personally punch everyone in the face who thinks it’s a good idea to DDOS the event.

Kickstarter is hosting a product that parents of neurdiverse children are supposed to stick on their child's back.That device will then beep every 8 seconds which is supposed to help the child to focus.As a neurodiverse person, I can tell you that this device would not only ruin every chance of me focusing on anything, being forced to wear it would make me kill myself. I am not exaggerating here.This is one of the worst forms of torture aimed directly at neurodiverse people I could imagine.Here's a change.org petition to stop the sale of this: https://www.change.org/p/kickstarter-stop-kickstarter-from-allowing-child-abuse-of-neurodiverse-childrenI doubt the petition will do much but the campaign does explicitly break a rule on kickstarter banning the sale of medical devices so maybe reporting it (it is linked in the petition) might help.

I've been told there where about 20 people who wanted to get in my Kubernetes talk but couldn't because the room was full already.Really not something I expected and apparently not something the orga expected either since it was in the smallest room. It's also really weird to come into a room 15 minutes before holding a talk and seeing it's half full with people who want to listen to what I've got to say.They most definitely weren't there because of me personally but rather because the topic sounded interesting to them but it still felt pretty good

One of the worse aspects of social media seems to be that people don't engage in conversation as much as they would with more traditional social interaction (like a chat room for example)Instead of some people talking together about some topic in a thread, everyone reads some take and then posts their own take detached from the original post.I don't think that's healthy.I do that as well, but I'm trying to stop.
