       If a user reports a very unusual and rare issue which basically hasn't happened to anyone else (it might be specific to their machine but there is no way of knowing), should I try to figure out what's going on or do I just respectfully decline to fix it? If I decline, how do I go about doing that?

       @selea you probably do because 90% of my contacts don’t even know Matrix/XMPP exists and once they get inteoduiced to it, they don’t really bother switching. People use what people they want to talk to use. If that’s Matrix/XMPP they’ll use it but if it’s not, it’s not very likely in my experience that the whole group would switch to a different platform. Usually there shoud be a “boss” that says which platform is going to be used, I’ve seen no other way.

       I've just found out that alongside @forgejo being a fork of @gitea, @WoodpeckerCI is a fork of DroneCI. It's sad that a lot of fantastic open source projects might be threatened by change of leadership/license. I hope these forks turn out to be a standard instead of people relying on software closed source software (I know Gitea is not closed but I'm personally not a fan of the for profit leadership).

       @jahanson @selea that’s probably when you run synapse. I don’t really have much resources so it was not really comfortable for me to maintain it. Dendrite is suppose to be a bit bether in that regard but it’s not yet a drop in replacement.
