@DrChris I use a medication that cost $110/month in the states, with insurance. We dropped our health insurance when it hit $1700/month! That’s a goddam mortgage payment. I found a pharmacy that doesn’t accept insurance and the charged me $60 for the exact same medication. Three years ago we moved Portugal. Same medication here costs €3! About $3.25. WTF? Health insurance in the states is a SCAM.

@DrChris $1700 was our monthly health insurance premium in rural Texas. Blue Cross/Blue Shield. They raised it to almost 2k and we canceled.

@jessecoynelson I have to agree. I've also noticed a bit of an "agenda" lately and a lot unnecessary gore, horror excess coverage of child abuse. There were a few shows where, for the most part, the donation segment was all I listened to.
