Let's not forget privacy and security isn't the only point of free software, even if it's one of its main selling points.I completely respect anyone going 100% privacy freak, but I personally, by choice, am not one of them and put all my personal information online. Still I advocate and use only free, suckless SW because I completely reject any idea of intellectual property and limiting what people can do with their copy of any kind of information. Proprietary SW and art prevent improvement, creativity, sharing, they stand in the way of education and science, create unnecessary work, bullshit jobs etcetc. And of course, as a bonus, free SW is simply of much higher quality too. The whole concept of someone owning a program or piece of art is a manifestation of the evils of our rotten society.

BTW GOG is shit, they sell proprietary games. Proprietary games are as evil as any other proprietary SW, actually probably worse because people have this idea of games being some kind of exception to free SW principles. Please only play completely libre games (not just engine, but also content).

I really love your videos Luke but you should stop saying things like "less people", "the reason is because", "Linux" instead of "GNU" etc. And also please delete your GitHub, it's proprietary and owned by Micro$hit. Literally host your code on your server, or at least somewhere free like Codeberg.

People sometimes let out that one horrible sentence that goes "looooonix is only freeeee if your time is worthless". That's literally the stupidest sentence that I've ever heard, besides being absolutely wrong also showing a complete misunderstanding of the word "free". On the other side, in this spirit win$hit is only useful if your work is worthless.
