I've had enough of the awful mobile signal in our village with very expensive #EE. I've complained to them for years and they've only made the signal worse. So I'm moving to #TalkMobile, which uses #Vodafone's network. It's just £6.95 a month for 6GB, unlimited minutes and texts! I mainly use WiFi so that's that's perfectly fine. Rolling 30 day contract so easy to switch again if I don't like it. Going from £53 a month to £6.95 will save a fortune! 😊

I have the incredibly sad news that my most wonderful, amazing mam passed away peacefully yesterday morning. She had been through so much, especially in this last year, but now she can finally rest. As a family, we feel completely lost and can't comprehend a world without such a bright shining light in it. I'm so lucky and thankful to have grown up surrounded by so much love.

We've just finished watching the #Chernobyl series on Sky. OMG. Such a powerful series. The acting and portrayal of the disaster was superb. It was very difficult to watch at times but it was fascinating throughout. I knew a little about what happened but I definitely landed a lot from this. So many lives ruined by the stupidity of a few (mainly one despicable excuse of a man), and the utter failure of the state. Do watch it if you can (also available on Blu-ray).

I've been emptying my mother's house after she passed away in March. It's a very sad but necessary process. One of the happier aspects though is that I've inherited her bakestone. I've got my own but making pice ar y maen (#Welsh Cakes) on hers is a totally different thing.My dad used to work in an iron foundry. He took my grandmother's stone to work and hand cast a copy for my mother, which she used constantly. This one very special, magical object holds so much #connection to my family. ❤️
