       Hello #fediverse, this is my #introduction post. I saw other people doing it and I thought: "Hey, why not?"I'm Lee, a "technologist" as my teachers say. Currently in school in my final few months of a two year program for Network Engineering. It involves virtualization, cloud services, Windows and Linux system administration, IP addressing, cybersecurity, configuration of networking equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls. There's more to it, but that's a good start.I have a bachelor's degree in Political Science, the plan was to be a bureaucrat but I ended up changing my mind (didn't want to work in an office). I used to do a little activism as a hobby (with Greenpeace) and I used to canvass for an environmental organisation.Some more random facts follow:Used to be big on anarchist philosophy when I was younger. I'm still pretty interested in political philosophy (mostly classical).I was also vegan for awhile but fell out of it, I plan on returning someday.I have four cats: Simon, Oreo, Sam, and Suzy. None of them are used for my passwords by the way.I live in Alberta, Canada which has a majority of Conservative voters but I steer very, very, left.Currently hosting my own single-user #Akkoma instance to interact with you all.#Politics #Canadian #Technology #Environmentalism
