#lastboost Don't get me wrong, I think ArchLinux is cool. But it's clearly for people who have a lot of time and mental resources to learn about this kind of tech stuff.

So, I rely on the Pomodoro method quite heavily for my breadwinning work. Up to now, I used Goodtime, but the last update ruined it for me.What pomodoro apps for Android do you #actuallyadhd people out there find useful and pleasant to use? What I'd love:* option to change the default work interval length as well as the break length* option to configure a longer break after n work intervals* no-frills interface* ad-free

fellow #actuallyADHD people, how do you cope if your symptoms worsen suddenly despite medication?I still hope it's temporary, but in the last two weeks or so, I have felt very distracted, nervous and so restless I felt like I couldn't finish anything or commit to doing something that would take longer than an hour.

Dear people who smoke: please consider that tobacco smoke is a health hazard for some people, e.g. people with lung conditions or people who suffer from migraine. Even outdoors, smoke is still a problem for us. It still wafts our way and it still stinks. So if you're in a kinda crowded outdoor situation, maybe just don't light that cigarette.#SmokeFree places are a matter of #accessibility for some of us. ðŸš

#actuallyADHD people, do you sometimes struggle with transitioning from one activity to another? And what helps you switch between tasks?

I've been devoting some time to working on a toolset in Python for making my copywriting life easier for the last few days. I am really proud that I wrote two features since Saturday and I'm getting faster and more confident.Programming seems to be something I can't do in bite-sized intervals. I need the first hour or so to get into the groove and only from hour 2 on, things atart flowing.

@Seirdy reading via RSS feed?I guess a lot of feed readers extract the text and replace the style sheet; that's why I want to use them again: reading without optical distraction.

@Seirdy are there readers that don't do that? I'm used to that behavior being the default. I haven't found a reader that I like and that works on the old tablet I would like to use for that. I used some desktop RSS readers - can't remember which ones, and they might no longer be maintained - back in the early 2010s and they all replaced the css.

I know two young people who were both struggling with school, always branded as "smart but lazy" by teachers and in one case by their own parents. One graduated with good grades, the other left school without graduating. Yesterday I learned that both of them have been diagnosed with depression and one of them has severe ADHD.Both obviously masked and compensated the hell out of it. Laziness does not exist.

@davidrevoy honestly, having been told that queer people exist and that queer love is valid and good at a younger age would have been life-changing for teenage me Queer kids deserve representation and role models.
