@aras @sheredom UK rules allow a reasonable amount of solar panel installation without any paperwork, unless you have a listed building (protected status) or are in a conservation area or national park. You can get around this by having a 'portable' system, e.g. I have 800W solar with 4.8kWh batteries on the grounds of a listed building in a conservation area :)

@aras To be a proper shader it must have some form of texture fetch functionality and sampler state.> Border Collie is a shader.

@clive One problem with DuckDuckGo is it uses Bing, and Bing deindexes sites without any information or recourse to resolve it (the Webmaster tools give generic responses rather than precise reasons, and support just says to use the Webmaster tools). For example you can't find my company website Enkisoftware.com by searching with DuckDuckGo for Enkisoftware, nor my articles such as "normal generation in the pixel shader".

Everytime I do a render of a map like this one (Minecraft map Greenfield City) I get a hankering to make a top down 2d game...

A good reason to use colour rather than color in your code is that colour has the same number of letters as both albedo and normal so you can align your code better.

Many programmers knit in their free time but perhaps it's better to have a hobby that's not software development.

Execs at Software Companies:"User metrics for our AI features are on an upward trend."The metrics:- Searches for "How to turn off AI feature".- Issue submissions for "How to turn off AI feature".- Installer interactions with AI feature (uninstall button clicks).Edit: Note that none of the above has been measured, this is a joke.

@lritter It's only debugging if it's from the municipality of Buggingen, DE. Otherwise it's just sparkling printf's.

@aras @lritter This explains the Quake story - Carmack goes into a nail salon to get some pro filing and comes out with well optimized software *and* nine inch nails.
