@fatboy I didn't see any queries being sent to my ISP when I attempted to recreate the issue. I am using a VPN browser plugin through... I wonder if the issue would persist if the DNS settings were changed on the router.

@ataraxia937 despite offering DoH as well they even openly discourage people from using it. Something to do with how it exposes you to them in some manner if I’m not mistaken.

@TheFuzzStone Have you tried using Invidio.us? You can create a login and "subscribe" to all your favorite channels without it being tied to your Google account. I'm hoping Freetube comes around. I really like it but as you said it's glitchy. It's a gamble if a video will load or not.

Former or current users of MacOS. Do you find it easier to use in comparison to Windows or various Linux DEs. I have found I’m able to do everything faster on Windows and Linux but I genuinely want to know if I just don’t understand macOS enough to make a fair comparison.

All this talk about "leaving Firefox"... which browser are you going to use? I haven't found anything decent that isn't Chromium or Gecko based. Falkon is OK. LibreWolf seems to be the best Gecko based alternative. I see a lot of praise for Vivaldi but Brave is better when it comes to Chromium based IMHO.
