       @wjmaggos @jayrosen_nyu Is that because we have a hard time believing some could be so mendacious and craven ? I know I struggled with it.  But I have come to understand that a great many successful people,  are playing life on a completely different rule set to the one I was given.

       @wjmaggos I do agree, with caveats !The Beeb were all over Twitter from fairly early on, and lent it lots of credibility when it wasn't much more than a toy.I dont have an issue with the politics of it, but they are publicly funded and they gave a big free ride to a private company  that created billionaires.  That's not right.
