       @aphyr I'd been wondering this exact same thing - I'd been quite pleased about the lack of Pr*de D*sc*urs* on the birbsite and then there was just this sudden flood of "no kink" stuff yesterday.

Total output of the Oklo reactor was about 4.7e17J, assume that all went into boiling water at 40.65kJ/mol so it boiled 1e13mols =2e11kg water, or about 1.4e-10 times total amount of water on the planet.You contain about 40l of water, so the same proportion would be about 6 micrograms of Oklo water in your body.

       @mjg59 @pluralistic one of the main reasons I’m very pro pico-8/tic-80 is that there are some great games and *they can all be taken apart*: you can show a kid how to open up and change the player sprite to be their favourite toy, or give you ten lives instead of five, or print “fart fart fart” when you lose. I’ve not found anything else as good for removing the mystique and showing you that it’s all just someone’s code underneath, that you can understand if you want to.
