@Shebeencounter I also feel that the Dem insiders have a great fear that progressive voices will gain traction. (The insiders represent the Hillary Clinton style losing coalition and big donors.)They didn’t want to risk having primaries. Another detail that bugs me is that Jill and Hunter convinced Biden to stay in the race — just a week before he bowed out. It’s like they were all drunk on his power.

@Nonilex Well. golly. Is she just another psychopath in tRump’s orbit? She’s been changing his diaper and cleaning ketchup off the walls all this time. She knows the harm he’s causing to people, to the government, and to the whole country. But she keeps showing up for work, being a cog in the machine, and cashing her paycheck. Seems like just another variation of deplorable.

@Nonilex The way things are going, with all the obvious coverups by powerful men, I’m guessing that conspiracy theories about the jail and jailers will be ramp up. On the face of it, it would seem unlikely that someone DIDN’T arrange for Epstein to be silenced. There had to be many powerful people who were scared to pieces about what would be revealed in a trial.

@futurebird Former teacher here. Remote learning on snow days is a way to boost the kids who have everything going their way (non-chaotic home, good internet, attentive parents, etc.) and to leave further behind the kids who don’t. It’s BS.
